CV Labs welcomes new partner for Batch_06 of its Accelerator

With the application deadline for Batch_06 approaching, we're excited to unveil our newest partner for the CV Labs Accelerator. Ever since its establishment in 2018 at the heart of Crypto Valley, the program has propelled 39 early-stage blockchain startups. The program boasts a roster of over 150 experts, mentors, and partners spanning various domains and key global locations.

Continuing our journey of evolution and growth, we're delighted to announce Algorand Ventures as an investment partner, supporting those startup projects that are building on Algorand for Batch_06. CV Labs remains blockchain and industry-agnostic.

About the Investment Partnership - CV Labs x Algorand

‍

Algorand Ventures joins the CV Labs Accelerator as a joint investment partner in support of any projects coming from the Algorand ecosystem. These projects will receive half of the $135K in program funding from Algorand Ventures and half from CV VC.

The CV Labs Accelerator always welcomes pioneering partners to join, support, and enable the startups who partake in its dynamic acceleration program. Such partners may join as mentors, subject-specific experts, and investment partners. The CV Labs Accelerator remains a protocol-agnostic accelerator. This venture partnership is specific only to any startups that are currently utilizing Algorand.

Initial Partnership Steps

‍

The partnership’s first collaboration has already taken place, with Bastian Wetzel (Head of Acceleration at CV VC), joining the Algorand Build-A-Bull hackathon as a judge for the Consumer track. This provided our investment team an opportunity to advise on the Algorand Build-A-Bull 155+ project submissions. Likewise, the team at Algorand Ventures will advise on any startup applications to CV Labs acceleration programs, that are working on Algorand.
